I actually prefer the Covenant Carbine to the Battle Rifle simply because I think it is more versatile when that target across the map has a buddy pop out in front of you. I'm glad they brought back the assault rifle simply for its good medium range ability.

For MP Eternal Silence has good weapon selection and space combat. Insect Infestation is pretty fun but still in Alpha I believe, so expect bugs. I would suggest more but those two are what I have played recently.

May I suggest building up lot's of AA to take out those pesky Cybran bombers and make sure to build up a large land force before taking out the last of the Aeon on their first island. If you build AA all the way up the island it will not only take out the Cybran aircraft but also provide fodder...
