why do i keep timing out? i set my cl_timeout to a larger number and tryed the rate one but dont quite understand it. i dont have any virus's or anything. its so annoying to time out with a 30 ping thanks in advance

thanks but it didnt work, it just chrashes and never starts up. says its preparing to launch dod source but never does it

i turned dod source on to high of a res. and now it only is black. i tryied reinstalling source to see if that would work and reran video stress test but it didnt work. cs source works fine just not dod source. any help?

ok so i had some crappy 80 dollar ram and it ran fairly well. bf2 was fine. then i go and buy much much better ram and i havent noticed a difference, in fact its like its worse. especially bf2. it laggs like no other? WTF? do i need to reformat when you put new ram in or something?
