Are you sure the problem persisted after a restart of Steam? THis happens to me when I change AA or AF, but goes away when I relaunch the game.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I think that is only for voice com. I mean the text chat. I ask b/c my younger bro likes to play, but I would like to turn off the chat as some people have the need to be extremely rude and/or disgusting Thanks.

Could someone tell me how to disable the chat in CS:S? I was able to do it in old CS, but I forgot what the command was (something like mp_chat 0 or something), and no amount of googling has helped me either. Thanks a lot in advance.

192.xxxx.xxx addresses are for internal network use (like if u have a home network/router). You need your broadcast IP.
