Almost one year ago Valve told us that most of the AI in HL2 is unscriptet. People played the beta and discovered that many of these things were scriptet. When HL2 is released, most people wont play HL Source first because they want to play HL2 so bad. If they release HL: Source some weeks before HL2, people can prepare themself for HL2 :) . I think that would be a very good idea. Who knows? It might even bonus the sales of HL2?
