No, if you recall, in the begnning of thier production Gabe said they are HL3, a month later he said they will be named Aftermath and work on HL3 will begin shortly after EP3 arrivle.
We've seem to forgot that these "episodic" gaming is indeed under one label, Half-Life 2: Aftermath. This Story, Eli, Alyx and all isn't a huge part of the main story, these games are like a side story for the real one, after that beeing said, i think that in EP3 will get to the Borealis and do...
It dosen't matter!, I just said that the Borealis contacted a combine world and not Black Mesa's portal and you guys keep on talking about the combine origins! and quite frankly i don't care which planet they came from.
Maybe the Borealis is the portal the combine used to get to earth in the first place... well it seems in portal some things like the energy ball and the turrents kinda remind most people of the combine tech.
If the Borealis was Aperture's attempt to create a dimensional rip like Black Mesa...
There's no reason for the G-Man to save Eli... the gman works for a group of people currently unknown, whom want certin events to happen, so the gman is just like a servent, going about taking care of everything to be perfect. Eli's death didn't matter to his plans so he has no reason to do it mojo.
The Blue one was a cake mix.. and i don't see how the Combine can take over GlaDOS.. there is no sign of Combine invasion to the facility nor any of thier tech.
It is not impossible to think that BM might wanted to throw off AS from the map, seeing as they are rivals.
Plus it seems GlaDOS was...
What makes a computer start going insane? a virus ofcourse. here's what im thinking...
GladDOS was made as a deal breaker so AS gets more funding and BM gets less.
BM noticed that and decided to hack or put a virus in the computer... i don't think they meant for it to kill all the people and...
I really don't think windows supports FPS backrounds :\ and i guess i won't install it cuz my lame xp would startup after 5 minutes :\ just take a screenshot and pop it as your desktop...
