Use the silencer when either:
Up close and rushing through some tight areas... ie dust2 tunnels.
Standing in 1 spot waiting for somebody to appear from round a corner at fairly close range
Take the silencer off for the majority of the time tho, at long range it destroys the m4, the short...
Didnt cliffe hint that lee was working on it?

id like it to be kept slightly like the current CS... however make the maps more...
CT's having to actually get the defuse kit out would destroy the gameplay.
Its usally hard enough for CT's to get into a site full of T's that have planted, kill them all and then defuse with a kit as it is, nevermind having to get a ket out, that would take an extra second to switch too etc...
Source has a problem with bullet reg though...
somebody can be right up close and you can hold fire whilst the xhair is right on thier chest.
ok the gun recoils so bullets arnt as accurate but you can see blood off the bullets which do hit, and they dont register, console will still say 2...
new one looks far more detailed, and is slightly easier to tell apart from a T model compared to the old one...

Just restarted my steam and seen that train and compound will be out tomorrow...
Must admit, looking foreward to that train map, looks the ****ing shiznit, and will make a change from playing dust2 over and over again :)

Not often I can actually say...
The new map that is coming out was supposed to be a hostage recue map called cs_compound, in the new weekly updates thing by steam it said de_compound...
Anyone confirm the switch ?
