I can't imagine that Valve wouldn't have ability to unlock certain individuals' Steam accounts and allow reviewers to play the game that way. That's kind of a huge part of a system like this! PS - Where is this countdown? I'm not seeing it on gamespot's main page anywhere...

You can pretty much guarantee that all of the major internet reviewers have had their review copies for several weeks now. Steam can definitely unlock HL2 on people's systems on case by case basis for those that are authorized to use it already. I do remember hearing, though, that no online...
