You don't need one. They are nice to have. It's not as basic as say pacman. I love it when manuals have pictures and explanations of the badguys, guns and pickups. I don't know anything about counter-strike, maybe some stuff about that seeing as they did pass it off as the games multiplayer.

The latest update for HL had a banner ad at the bottom of the montier screen. Maybe I missed this before, but that makes it adware as well as the worst software ever. please correct me

I just picked up the latest computer hardware Monday so I'll be able to have HL3 blazing when it comes out.
