I'm running it at 1600x1200, 2xFSAA, 8xAF & everything at Maxium, Full HDR. With a X800XT It's VERY smooth on a 32 players map. Sometime my FPS drop to ~30 in heavy firefights with HDR all around the place. However 90% of the time it's smooth as butter. The game is gorgeous

They should have included a Omaha beach map to show us how it could look in Source with HDR & Physics...

I agree with you efuxer69. But Valve !!!WILL!!! release new maps for DOD:S... Just like they did with CS:Source. When it came out it had 6 maps I think? de_aztec, de_dust, de_dust2, cs_office, de_piranessi & cs_hanava... They added 4 maps, de_port, cs_compound, de_tides & cs_assault. And...

Looking great! I can't wait to play in it's full glory at 1600x1200 with HDR! :naughty: However there's always a thing which bothered me in DOD is the crosshair. I really can't stand it. And they haven't changed it... Hopefully there will be a way to change it in Source

delete your cstrike folder

Hello, I'm sure there is a way to install the HUD from HL2 in CS:S. I've already tested it by extracting the HL2 "Hudlayout.res" and "clientsheme.res" to theirs respective folders but it doesn't work... I'm sure someone could do it for me :) Another question... Is there a way to replace...

Well something going wrong with your PC. I can show you some pics of different size of crosshair if you want.

no Set it at whatever size you want... start the game at 1600x1200 and set it at cl_crosshairscale "2500" if 2500 is too small try 2000, or 2200, or whatever! :)

cl_crosshairscale is your friend in this kind of situation. I set it a 2500 when I play at 1600x1200...

Et Voila! Simply extract it to: C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\[email protected]\counter-strike source\cstrike\resource
