come on, you can't say that the plot wasn't linear. there was only one ending!
now look at blade runner. multiple plotlines and and endings. that's a non-linear plot.
Half-Life 2's plot was like a movie. very linear, like a movie. sure, stuff like the physics and the weapons make it fun...
nah... all those downloads for free? who are you kidding, the bandwidth costs must be huge.
and while we're on the subject, the beta is now open to all (you have to have atleast a free account though)

you might want to consider getting ddr333 ram if you're going to overclock. the rest of the deal looks nice though.
and steam with hl2, hl1, cs1.6, cs:s and various mods only comes to 5.5 gb on my hard disk, so i don't know where 8 came from. also, a fresh install of windows xp is around 1.5...
i don't play cs much, but the galil (the rifle with 35 to a round, costs $2000 for terrorists only) is definitely a favourite. those extra bullets keep the firefights going and it's cheap too, i can usually pick one up on the 2nd round. quite accurate for a rifle as well.
the author already stated she had all 7 books written "at home" in an interview. and that was 4 years ago! if she wanted to re-write them as well, she could bloody well keep them down to the size of the 3rd one or smaller, as well... books are shorter to write if they're shorter to read.... ;)
stack em on the floor and stamp on them, it's the quickest way. although the microwave version is prettier :)
and yes, they will release toxic gases if burnt/microwaved (that's the nasty smell) so don't do too many if you plan to live to one million years old :)
i'm sure there's more than just one, i've seen at least 10 that do real damage to hardware. And as for methods: for instance, programs that halt all of the fans running in the system (much like speedfan does) and therefore cause components to overheat. you could write a hard drive firmware that...
different strokes for different folks mate, there's a difference.
as for hard drives being destroyed? sure, it's possible, on the driver/firmware level.
you can set up clockgen to execute a config file containing bus speeds/voltages when it runs, it's all in the readme. then you can make a shortcut on your desktop (or even shortcuts, for different speeds).
and if you're having problems with not being able to boot with certain speeds, then...
the books went downhill when J.K. Rowling (or her publisher) decided to wait 4 years between releases :(
i never liked the films though. it spoilt the way i read the books. plus they're all to serious. no-one's ever smiling or making a nice pun in the action scenes.
ron's hair looks good...
