Hey. I got HL2 up and running a week or so ago and completed it in about three days. Is it me or is HL2 shorter than HL1? It took me bloody ages to complete HL1 and although that was a couple of years ago and I've gotten better at fps games since, I sorta get the feeling that HL2 was definitely...
In fact, I didn't see any zombies in gonarch's lair. So maybe we're all wrong. Maybe type 1 goes off and finds hosts and doesn't come back until a certain time?
I don't know what's wrong with the type 1 and 2 theory. Hey, maybe type 2 looks completely different than type 1 and type 1 protects and feeds etc type 2.
Bees and ants have very complex "different type" systems. Why can't headcrabs have a relatively simple "different type" system?
Ok cheers. Personally the scariest things from my (very short) experience of the game were the fast zombies [shiver]. I just hated seeing them clamberin across roof tops in the distance knowing that they were heading towards me...
I know about Gauss jumping but still I sort of get the feeling that I'm being ripped off when I see Gauss jumping, wallmine staircases and snark staircases. And especially gravity gun hover boarding in HL2.
How does he skip whole chapters?
From my point of view bugs are just as bad cheats. I don't want to see him walking over a roof or flying on a piece of wood using the gravity gun or whatever. That's not skill.
