could it be that it is only affecting the EA UK official servers? it seems all of those servers regularly crash (and some other 64 player ones)

what a bad bf2 day i have had and its only midday, was 2 kills away from getting expert engineer.... and the server crashed!:angry: since patch 1.3 came out all i seem to get when i join a game is a server crash within an hour..:flame:

i have the same problem gorgon and im really annoyed by the constant server crashing. i get through maybe two maps, dalian plant and then dragon valley then the server crashes and its back to dalian again.... ive had enough of playing dalian plant . WHEN ARE THEY GOING TO FIX THIS...

water_pretty1.vmt is the name of the file, unfortunatly there is no file there for me to download, the other threads on this subject did at one point have a link to "water_pretty1.vmt" but that link has expired...:frown: thanks for looking, i am still trying to find the file tho...

about the random lag spikes, i found using a free reg fix tool can stop serious spikes, along with the punkbuster cfg command and write cfg u should be ok playing, also do a virus scan using all ur av software and antibot and adaware in safemode, if you havent done before then you will be surprised.
