I'm always forgetting stuff too. There are a few memory improvement techniques you can learn, but it's not easy. Generally you'll find your memory disimproves as you get older though. It's unfortunate, but can't be helped.

Far Cry's physics engine was hilarious. Max Payne 2 was a fantastic game. The thread starter is an idiot. Following my three entirely unrelated statements, I'll be off.

I like to play Valve's games, not make them. If you worked on a Half-Life game you certainly wouldn't want to play it afterwards. At least not for entertainment's sake.

Odd that a 64MB video chip would only take 8MB of system memeory.

Then it wouldn't work. Not to mention the modules on a 512MB stick are 64 or 32MB each. More than likely his system is just reporting it incorrectly.

Sure it's not as quick, but half is BS. Even if you were correct, 1.4GHz is above the minimum.
