    I agree 100% -- visuals are nice (how can you not like the beveled edges and depth on the buttons compared to plain square buttons from early 90's!), but put those resources towards fixing some of the nagging issues... I really hope they will fix the Friends list with this update.

    This can happen in any FPS game... not DoD specifically. Play on a server with decent admins.

    I wouldn't want to see total gibbage. Just an arm or a leg blown off here and there depending on the blast radius and proximity.

    It's good so long as the server also has a Ban/Kick rule if you TK too much. Gets rid of the losers who just want to tk to bomb their own team.

    I used to have the same problem (sounds similar anyway).. my sound card would slightly pop out of the slot everyone once in a while and cause it.

    It should still work if you are using a shortcut. The shortcut launches the .exe which has the launch properties associated with it.

    Anybody know if the Nvidia drivers that were released yesterday fixes this? Do we still have to force dx to 8.1 to get decent FPS? My guess is yes since I have an FX series card that will run dx 9, but not with great preformance :(

    NVIDIA Releases Version 78.05 Drivers

    Anyone know if you still need to force the GeForce FX series video cards to DirectX 8.1 with this driver update? Or can we run reasonable FPS with DX 9 now? I'll check it out when I get home tonight.. just curious if anyone else has already noticed.
