Ah, thanks for the catch.
However, I'm not entirely sure that it would be so easy for Vortigaunts to become ingrained into human society, much less be able to grasp onto political power so early on. After all, there are many people in real life who simply refuse to acknowledge the...
Oh. I didn't notice that. I was just pointing out the jump of their numbers since when this thread started. Do you think that this boycott thing will die off soon, then?
The rebellion would form as a sort of government. Though, with Eli dead, I am unsure who will be incharge, Kliener? Madison? Also, other rebellions around the world (if there are any) will also hold onto their own power, but whether they term their makeshift government as a new America, Europe...
I agree with that. There must have been a gap between the Portal Storms and the Seven Hour War for all the people in the rural areas to flood into cities. At least, that is, if the info in Raising the Bar is correct. I guess a few months would probably be neccesary for such a widespread migration.
My question definitely would be, why the hell do you follow orders so blindly?
Hey, Doc, why don't you go into the teleportor?
Hey Doc, can you singlehandedly take care of the Strider invasion?
Hey Doc, can you go to the Borealis and retrieve this "Super, Awesome, Omega Weapon tm"...
Aye. But the nice thing is that I've just got off from spring break, which means no more school for a while at least; it gives me more time to do stuff like this.
I should try that read aloud thing. I'm normally dead silent at my laptop. But I can so relate with that black slate feeling...
I'm GLaD (:naughty:) you mentioned this, it considering I wanted to mention this earlier.
Now, I'm rather sure that in a earlier "debate" I mentioned to you that there's no way to be sure that GLaDOS actually knows what's going on outside the Enrichment Center. However, when I said that...
I'm glad. I've actually already gone through three of the performances, only one left, which is today. Though it's been a lot of fun, I'll be glad when it's finally over.
Ah. How could I have forgotten about those floating platforms? Yes. Those were very peculiar, however, it's the ASHPD...
I think it's possible that we might start Episode 3 with the G Man giving a short little monologue, focusing mostly on Eli, and the nature of their relationship. It might be that last scene, where Gordon and Alyx are left in the hangar, only time is frozen, or they might try to mirror Half Life...
This is what I particularly dislike about studying poetry in school. The teacher always ends up telling the class what the symbolism means in the poem, far before the majority of them come to figure it out for themselves. Granted, the majority of them don't care enough to actually bother to work...
I also must apologize. I've been quite a bit busy lately. Hope you don't mind.
I realized that, but I just made the arguement for the heck of it.
Yes, though the fact is a bit overshadowed due to the ASHPD, which is, ultimately, the star of Portal. When one thinks of "technology" and...
