I wouldn't call myself a player since I'm not very good at it, but I'm way into synths and making electronic music. I just placed a preorder for a new analog synth that's coming out soon (called the MiniBrute), and I can't wait.

Haven't seriously studied anything (not beyond wiki articles) but I know the basics of scales and harmony and all that. I know even more about sound engineering itself, like how synths work and stuff.

Wow, man! You've got some equipment right there! I'm not into this kind of music, but you seem to be quite a pro. Harmonies are quite simple from what I can hear. Nevertheless, the jam had a secondary dominant (the second chord you play) and then you resolve to the IV chord of the tonality. Sure you just learned from the web? Nice work.
