CNN says Microsoft will be tripling production of the xbox 360 game system, so thats good news for anyone having trouble getting one.

Hmm, I guess they work fine as individual threads, but anyway...

I'll believe it when I see it. Increasing inventory doesn't necessarily equate to an increase in actual sales. I wonder, with the recent PS3 announcements and the pending Rev announcements from the GDC, how many gamers are going to invest in the FTM without seeing what the other very worthy competition have to offer. This should equate to solid gold for us as gamers though. :E

I really don't get it, are there still supply shortages for 360 demand, or just shotages in general?

I can't seem to find a GAME or Gamestation that hasn't got 360's in stock now. And they all seem to be retailing the premium package and at least two games for around £350.

I have no idea what the exact situation is with the 360 except that they are sold before they even get here and are not easy to get here were I live.

Having 300% more comming off of the assembly lines is definately necessary for it's success and availability worldwide.

So its good news, for anyone who wanted one but couldn't get find one for sale anywhere. (here)
