Account Disabled :(

So I tried logging into Steam yesterday and it said that my account was disabled. I looked over the "Why Was My Account Disabled" page and I haven't done anything illegal or breaking the Terms of Service.

If Steam can't reactivate my account for a reason other than that I did something illegal,
I hope to hell they give me all of my full games switched to another accout.

Or some legal action might ensue (lol, jk. or am I?)

If you've filled out the support ticket correctly and fully, just sit tight. You should receive a response with 3-5 business days.

If you are suffering that bad, buy Counter-Strike on another account.

if you have proof its your account, then they will give it back to you. only problem is when mine was hijacked a VAC ban for the account showed up 2 weeks later and now the account in worthless and stolen again.

How do you people lose your accounts? Use a tough password, if you can't remember it write it down and hide it under your monitor. Be cautious when downloading anything Steam related Mods, reskins etc.

I hope you know that if you are VAC banned that it's permanent and Valve won't help you.

I didn't lose the account, it was hijacked.
And I'm not VAC banned. My account was disabled.

there is delay in VAC bans lol did you even read my post? the delay is so if you cheated then you wont know what cheat caused the account to be VAC banned. so no promises, if you do end up getting VAC banned, then valve wont do shit about it. even if i told them about the hijacking recently it still didn't help.

So if my account is hijacked right now, and someone is hacking on it, I will most likely get banned in a few weeks and have to do this again? I knew I shouldn't have bought GRID on steam...that's it. I'm not buying another non-Valve game on Steam ever again. It's just too risky. I mean, what'd happen if Valve folded overnight or something awful like that? I'd lose a shitload of games.

No, if someone is hacking on it then you'll just get a VAC ban. Meaning you can't play online on Vac secured servers. You can still play singleplayer games ie HL2 and 3rd party games such as Grid online and offline. Vac bans only effect Valve online games nothing else. If Valve were to go backrupt, then they have said to have backup plans to still make sure you can play your games, they have tested it and said it works. Of course it's highly unlikely they will ever need to use it.
