I thought people would all like to know just what CDs contain Sony's software. DON'T PUT THESE IN YOUR COMPUTER!

Trey Anastasio - Shine
Celine Dion - On ne Change Pas
Neil Diamond - 12 Songs
Our Lady Peace - Healthy in Paranoid Times
Chris Botti - To Love Again
Van Zant - Get Right With the Man
Switchfoot - Nothing Is Sound
The Coral - The Invisible Invasion
Acceptance - Phantoms
Susie Suh - Susie Suh
Amerie - Touch
Life of Agony - Broken Valley
Horace Silver Quintet - Silver's Blue
Gerry Mulligan - Jeru
Dexter Gordon - Manhattan Symphonie
The Bad Plus - Suspicious Activity
The Dead 60s - The Dead 60s
Dion - The Essential Dion
Natasha Bedingfield - Unwritten
Ricky Martin - Life
My Morning Jacket - Z *
Santana - All That I Am *
Sarah McLachlan - Bloom Remix Album *

* features copy-protection technology that is not XCP, but still suspect

If those albums were in my computer, sony software would be the least of my problems. :P

No offense to Ricky, of course. <3

You'd have to pay me to listen to that crap! That being said, i've never heard of 95% of it

Switchfoot is awesome tho

So are these the only ones?

You could post that in the hardware/software thread i had been reading about for hours "Bad day to be sony"
Thanks

Damn, I'm looking to get My Morning Jacket's album too :/ Hope theres a quicker workaround available then having to run an anti-spyware.

Thanks god that list contains only gay music

hm, good thing i don't listen to horrible music otherwise i might have a problem :o

Horace Silver Quintet

dear god not Horace!! NOT HORACE!!!!

sony should attach an app that melts the cd as soon as it's put into a cdplayer and then sets fire to the rest of the house ..god they're all horrid ..except Sarah McLachlan and Santana

"Best of" albums are stupid, just releasing old tracks again to remind everyone you're still alive.. And somehow get people to buy it too, while they have all the tracks.

Bleh.

Thank god CDs like that will die off once internet music selling gets going

*Sony agent knocks on door*
"Excuse me, Miss Dion?"
"Yes?"
"Could you sign this, please?"
"What is it?"
"It's a software contract."
"What's it for?"
"It's for the XCP software from Sony."
"What's that?"
"Oh, it's just software that, when ran on a computer completely destroys it, resulting in pissed-off users that will potentially try to assassinate you."
"Oh, ok."
*signs*
