Does anyone know how I alter the health/damage of Alyx in the game?

well if u make a trigger brush u can select it to take health off i dont know if theres one to add health. then theres probaly a flag u can select to heal npc's

And while I'm doing that I could unifiy quantum mechanics and general relitivity.

So simple

well i dont know about unifying quantum mechanics and general relativity but yes it is so simple.

It's probably an sk_ command.

One sec, I'll see if I can find it.

EDIT : Nope, can't find it :|
Type in the console : sk_ and then use the arrow keys to check between the commands that start with sk_.

And unifying quantum mechanics is a piece of cake, I did it between eliminating world poverty and making world peace. :p

Can't you just use a logic_auto to SetHealth on Alyx?

So, in fact, it's only simple if you already know how to do it?

Good these forums arn't they...

yes they are good and yes it is simple and yes i did explain to you how to do it.

No you didn't. You most obviously saw my original request for help as a means to tout your own (supposed) understanding of the subject; without actually being helpful may I add.

well if u dont know how to make a trigger brush u need to do alot of tutorials before doing this stuff. make a brush, do you know how to do that? select tools\trigger texture for it. press ctrl t and sellect whater ever it is like trigger hurt or func damaege i dont know then on the flags select it to only work on npcs. it was merely a suggestion.

Found it.

ent_fire npc_alex sethealth <number>

Thanks for the "help" Craphead, I guess you can go back to your bathroom mirror and continue telling your reflection how clever he is.

Sorry, but we don't outright put down people on this community.

But you'll probably just leave after you've gotten your're help so it doesn't matter.

Clueless suggetions, pretentious self-promotion, and self-righteous dismissive prejudgement. How exactly have I "gotten my help"?

Okay okay, I retract the craphead remark. Next time I'll just smile politely when a patronising modder can't desend to my humble level of understanding.

i wasnt beeing patronising i was telling you a method of adjusting an npc's health in a polite manor in the simplest way i could. anyway you said you had solved it so whats the problem.
