Anyone else have the WM edition of HL2?

I just went out and bought HL2 at Waly World today without thinking. I bought Vice City there last year and discovered that various parts of the game is edited out (like the ability to pick up strippers or do missions at the strip club). So I am wondering before I open it as to whether HL2 has the same problem?

Hmmm....... I doubt it. Shops don't edit games, for themselves.... unless its all pirated.

First of all, Walmart does not and will not sell M rated games along with Parental Advisory CD's. I truly doubt Walmart would do this.

I don't know, but I DO know that they edit their games.

When I was 10, duke nukem came out. I was really excited because of the porno! So I asked my dad to buy it, and he was like "why is this rated M" and I just said, because theres a little bit of blood. So he bought it at some game store, but I put it in, and realized that the whole CD was under a parental lock. It edits out all of the blood and naked women, like some sort of patch the publisher specifically installed in for New Zealand (NZ doesn't like evil games).

And I have heard in the states they will not carry certain albums and such if someone complains, can't imagine rockstar making a walmart version though.

Yeah some albums.... For example a lady in my state is suing Walmart because she bought the Evanesence CD which did not have a Parental Advisory sticker on it. When she listened to it she claimed they were some swear words. So she is suing to get $75,000 per CD sold. For her suffering... thats what you call a total lunatic......
