I have made these cool Engineer drawings in school and extruded them as 3D, and would like to put em in 3D max so i can edit them. Also i have made maps that i would want in hammer.

Is there a way to import my drawings from AutoCad 2005 (not architecture) into Hammer? As a 2D drawing or as a 3D shape? (i can extrude the things in AutoCad to 3D).

If not, is there a way to do the same but to 3Dmax Studio 7?

thanks if someone can answer this, im taking classes in these programs, and it would be a great step ahead the others in my class if i learn everything before hand since i have the programs at home (basecly im done with this and the next quarters Projects already because i get to do most of the work at home)

i think u need to export the mesh to dxf to get it as a map file to load into hammer but im not sure.

There's no way you will be able to get it into hammer as BSP. Even if you did, when you compiled it would totally die.
