Cars on Broken Bridge

I know you have to push cars to one side of bridge, but nothing seems to happen when I do.

Edit: Seriously, jump of and walk around under it... I first thought that i had to run over the railing down at the water and half way down, the hole thing shifted.

Try pushing them completely away from the bridge.

I tried all suggestions and nothing seems to work

I thought you had to push them off the bridge?

Push the junk cars off the bridge and walk to the far edge (closest to Alyx). When you get to that end it shifts again, allowing you to jump down to a concrete support and into the grass. Climb the hill and onto the bridge. Get into the car and turbo your way to victory.
