i was looking at a farmerers almanac because i was with my grandparents, and saw an advertisemnt for a combine thresher. it a harvesting machine that gathers wheat and stuff, most of the time its called a combine, oh well, lets chew on that for a while.

Yeah, it's a theory shared by many that the combine are named after combine harvesters, instead of being a 'combination' of things. I don't really know what to believe...

IF taken seriously, this maybe something, i mean, with all the water gone, the combine could really be "harvesting" ressources on earth, either it's water, humans, plutonium or whatever...

Yes, this is a theory I belive is true, I mean just LOOK at the combine citadel, it's eating through the city, block by block, HARVESTING the buildings and whatever's inside, they were also the likely reason for the oceans drying up, and whatever else they could get their hands on.

In that, the 'combine' are cyborgs with no emotions, and are identical to humans.
