hi everyone--hows it going? I am new here, so bear with me plz. First--glad to have found the site--sure comes in handy. While this type of game aint my usual style--usually it is flight sims, specifically Falcon4, if ya interested, I must admit, HL2 sems to have hooked me in, reel, line and sinker, lol. Got it for xmas and am running around in the prison now, and it has been a blast.As to my question tho, I saw where to get that console going, it said to r. click the shortcut, go to properties and add -console to the line so it would read---- c program files half life2 hl2exe.-console--- now, if I click the desktop shortcut for HL2 or Steam ,I get this--- "C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\Steam.exe" -applaunch 220 --- Am I using the right shortcut, or doing something wrong or what? I spent about an hour searching but couldn't find any answers. Also, I aint very up on all this comp stuff, so that may be the prob. Anyway, thanks for reading.
