From the creater of PL_OUTBACK (S.W.A.T.Y) comes his next great map cp_reelfoot. Reelfoot is a 5CP map just like Badlands, Well, and Granary. Reelfoot is based on a lake in Kentucky (no, I dont live there). Reelfoot is unique from any 5Cp map out there. Reelfoot took me under 30 days to make, from planning to beta 1.

Visually this map looks stunning, The layout looks superb.

However, I do have a couple of gripes with the map.

Firstly the building themselves look rather boxy considering the location. Maybe if they were more damaged or more intricate it would look nicer.

Some of the buildings don't exactly compliment each other too, for example the blue brick building and the wooden building right next to it just seem off to me, if they were similar materials then they wouldn't seem so odd.

My last real gripe is the lighting. Looking at how bright the map is and the time of day judging from the skybox I can say that those two do not work together. A brighter skybox texture or a darker environment light would probably stop me from thinking this.

Of course all of this is aesthetic opinions from the screenshots themselves. If I ran around in the map maybe I'd get a different opinion, I don't know. Though I will say I am definitely going to play this map!

I think that this is quite possibly the greatest looking map, ever.

That theme was designed by advanced modders over at TF2maps.net, I notice SWATY didn't give credit to them for it.

Looks reely lovely (geddit?). Nice work with this, I hope to see it on the map rotations soon. The lights connected to the builds are a nice touch, if you made a few adjustments you could release a christmas themed version (for the inevitable TF2 xmas event with Santa Claus hats).

No, I gave them credit, go check at tf2maps, I just didn't feel like posting it on every forum but I DID give them credit.
