CS for xbox

with counterstrike for XBOX, do i have to have xbox live to play it? is there a normal multiplayer mode?(not system link)

I also hear there are missions for CS on xbox. Is this true?

well, only thing I know about it is that its pretty icky to play on Xbox....just play 1.6 on PC, don't waste your money.

To play any on-line game with Xbox, you need xbox live service.

There are no missions - however, you can play against bots (computer controlled players) instead of going on-line.

The single player component of the xbox version of the game was added only as a tricky sales gimmick, so that they don't have to display on the box "can only be played with xbox live service" and to keep people who don't know any better from rioting when they - like you, get the game home and can't play it whatsoever.


I hate to disappoint you but I don't feel there is any fun to be had playing that game off-line, and in my opinion, the on-line component is hardly any better. My teen-aged brother had some fun playing on-line for a couple of weeks however.

Anyway, yeah Virus pretty much covered it all, it really is a waste of money for Xbox, just playing 1.6 or CZ via Steam is 10x better

CS for Xbox was HORRIBLE!

Yeah, you can play the single-player with really bad bots who have horrid AI, or you can play online with the control scheme that takes days of playing to even begin to understand, or with the visuals so pixelated it looks more like Contra than it does CS

It's maybe the worst game you can buy for the Xbox other than the bargain bin titles, which this is.
