(CS:S) Error loading weapon_cubemap

Hey, I am just wondering why impulse 81 doesn't work in CS:S...

No matter how many times I build my cubemaps my surfaces and objects will only reflect the skybox. (Yes, I reload the map in CSS after I buildcubemaps)


I have been searching around for two days now and it's starting to get very frustrating.



I wanted to use weapon_cubemap to see if they were even registering...

weapon_cubemap?

why do you wish to sue cubemaps as weapons? I understand nothing of that. Env_cubemap is the thing, right?
 
...wow.

There is a debugger tool called weapon_cubemap that is activated with impulse 81.
It puts six spheres in front of you instead of your weapon, very useful to see if your cubemaps are working and not just reflecting the skybox, which in my case it is.
 
It's an engine bug. Cubemaps are screwed up now basically. Wait for Valve to fix them.
