Alright... I just reinstalled Battlefield 1942, and (of course) the Desert Combat mod... except DC won't work! I can play the maps in the normal BF1942 game fine, but when I try to play them with DC enabled, I get a CTD while the map is loading.
Also, I'm finding entries in my application event log like this:
The timeout waiting for the performance data collection function "PerfProc" in the "I:\WINNT\system32\perfproc.dll" Library to finish has expired. There may be a problem with this extensible counter or the service it is collecting data from or the system may have been very busy when this call was attempted.
...whose timing coincides with the time that the games CTDs. Any ideas?
EDIT: Is DC Final an addon or substitute for DC 0.7?
