Anyone know if the difficulty level of aftermatch get a bit higher than hlf2? Hard level was much to easy in hl2. In hl1 it was much better.
 
I should imagine that all three difficulty levels will be maintained in Aftermath that were present in HL2, this leaves an adequate playing range for the majority of gamers.

Plus if Hard was too easy for you, there may very well be another mod like substance created for AM, but as to whether that idea is feasible I have no idea.
 
You can make it harder by tweaking various cfg settings too, without downloading a mod which changes much of the game.
 
True, less ammunition pick-ups and health packs for a start. Can't modifying cfg settings also increase enemy presence?

Cool, but how do you do that? (where can you found those files, and what do you have to change).
 
also make sure to check out http://www.hl2world.com/wiki/index.php/Half_Life_2_Client_Console_Commands

make a cfg. file called autoexec, put it in the cfg folder, and put any console commands modifications in there.

like if I wanted to have hl2 play with the phys_pushscale set to .3 all the time, I'd put phys_pushscale .3 in the autoexec cfg.

However most tweaks you'd want to make would probably be in the afore mentioned skills.cfg
 
yep even sometimes i checked to make sure i was on hard. cant they just send out a patch with a new difficulty it cant take that long to make one.
