Finally "done" on my first map.
I learned heaps while building it, and in my opinion it shows in that the newer areas are a bit nicer.
I used to build maps for Mechwarrior2:Mercnet way back in 1997 - 1999 or thereabouts, so I'm not totally new to mapping.
I'm also a Quake3 player, and consider this map to be a bit of a hybrid between quake-3 style simplicity and HL2 style realism.
Things that make it "beta":
- Not tested with more than just me in the map, but the performance counters are always very low, so should be quite good.
- Non-working turret gun is just for looks right now.
- Can't get the physics_behaviour of the undamaged APC the way I want.
It looks dark in the screenies, seems less so in-game. There are also a few triggered events, and some "secrets" that I cant really show in screenshots
