Alright. Here is what I had been thinking about... G-man according to me is too much of a fantasy more than reality in the game. He comes out of no where, he can stop time, he can go forward in time and stuff like that.

I know that the game is a game full of fantasies and stuff but g-man still dosnt fit in. Kinda hard to explain. Could it be that G-Man only exists in Gordons head?

hmmm mabie gordon is high on radation, and keeps on seeing g-man

*SPOILER*

doubt it. The end of HL2 left a wide gap for HL3. If G-man did not stop the time, the explosion would have killed gordon.

Just a thought.

What if the G-Man wasn't a living being at all, but some kind of force that is percived differently by different people? Maybe when Gordon sees him, he sees him as a man in a blue suit and a briefcase because that's the only way his brain can comprehend what it's seeing.

Or maybe everybody should stop and think of a decent explanation for the goings on in Half-Life, rather than shouting whatevers ontop of your mind.

A possibility that has definitely crossed my mind. I’m glad somebody else thought of it. Well put too.
Of all of the hl2 mysteries the g-man is about the only thing that I really don’t feel very comfortable speculating on… I think we have only seen the tip of an iceberg with him.

Agreed, i never do speculate about him really, simply because theres no way enough evidence to even come to a decent conclusion..

It's also possible that even Valve hasn't yet decided what/who Gman really is.

Gman reminds me of the typical MIB. Someone like an android... appearing as human. His voice is weird, he has advanced teleportation technology, and he doesn't like the Combine. Somehow I doubt the Resistance could've "hired" Gordon from the Gman... I mean what could they possibly offer him? My guess is he works for an alien group that is working against the Combine. He saw that Gordon was a badass and saved him for later use.

Last I checked this is the Rumors & Speculation forum and all he was doing was speculating. Since when was that illegal?

Nope. He's a real person. You can see him talking to Colenel Cubbage in highway 17. If he was a figment of Gordons imagination, then how could he talk to other people?

Let me quote pegcrab in response to that

I agree with Samon, you don't hire a writer to do the story for you and then make it up as you go along.
