Dont let Gamespots review worry you. Gamespot always over exaggerate the negative points of games and try not to praise the positive as much. Just have a look at this site and your faith will be renewed www.metacritic.com/games/platforms/pc/halflife2/ Much more realistic ratings from these magazines as all their comments contradict Gamespots.

It's not the rating. The 9.2 is fine.

That is the lowest review of HL2 so far, and gamespot (bribe king) gave Halo 2 a better score, OUTRAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sure, a 9.2 may be a good score, but a 92% is still a "B+."

I think most people were expecting a mark somewhere in the "A" range.

its kidna like a paper for school.. if you have high expectations on the grade you will get, and then they give you a B+... Its still a good grade, but its not as good as you think you should have gotten, and it makes you dissapointed.. thats what i think is kinda happening with the community... all i have to say is.. Dont worry... Be happy.. EDIT:Woah darkstar.. we just had like the same idea.
