the War at home I can cuz they're jewish ..and the OC because it's mindnumbling stupid but arrested development is quality tv ..not suitable for my 3yr old but it's still a good show

I'm meh about the others on the list ..most are craptastic anyways

Oh, this is even better....the best shows are crap that nobody but mindless zombies would watch!

1. Extreme Makeover - Yeah the whole family wants to watch a group remodel a house...
2. Three Wishes - Dont even know, but sounds weak
3. American Idol - Talk about mind numbing!
4. The Ghost Whisperer - Yeah like homicidal ghosts are fun for the whole family
5. Everbody Hates Chris - See above post
6. Reba - Huh?
7. Bernie Mac - Okay, its pretty good
8. Dancing with the Stars - Another crappy show with minimal enjoyment factor
9. 7th Heaven - Please. After school special...its just as bad as Full House..."I robbed the bank, but Im sorry, I learned my lesson." "Okay, honey, as long as you learned it was wrong..."
10. Not available - Pretty good show...
 
Don't let your kids near religious TV channels. They'll brainwash you, and take your money (the channels, not the kids). Some just harvest money form gullable idiots with no brainwashing required. Either way, just say NO.

I hope God smites anybody who watches the War at Home. That show is terrible. Parents should know what is and isn't approriate for their child anyway, not to mention those shows genrally have some sort of parental warning or whatever before their aired. This list is old too. Don't they have a new one on that site?

I like how South Park wasn't on that list, but Arrested Development was.

I'm sort of glad War at Home is on there though, if only for the reason that it's a horrible show.
 
Does "family viewing" even ****ing exist any more?

God knows that the few times my folks have gathered around the television, we were watching The Sopranos or Oz.

Yeah, some of my family's "movie nights" have been showings of Clockwork Orange, Blue Velvet, Boogie Nights, etc.

I heart my family.

I don't see where you guys are getting the whole religious theme. Anyway, this day in age if you take out all the bad in a show then you get the shows in the 'best list', which is largely lacking in entertainment.

If you take off the "bad shows" according to my dad, you'll get CSI and like 2 other shows....

he's strict on entertainment.
 
I like the War At Home. It's pretty funny.

But this list is pretty retarded. How is it South Park doesn't make this, yet Two and a Half Men does?

That show is actually about Chris Rock the comedian, also in Rush Hour remember? It's about him growing up and the racism and things he met - it's an ok show, i don't watch it though. (Comedy btw)

What i find hilarious about the lists are that the top 10 NOT to watch is complete, although the recommended shows go up to 9 then they ran out! I think thats typical they couldn't find another thing!

Oh, I thought if you took out all the "bad shows" you'd be left with maybe the Weather Channel. :D Hell even the Discovery Channel is only a shell of it's former self.

Basically, some religious people want essentially, Television to raise they're children by changing out shows here and there to make our evening viewing more "enriched" while the adults refer to their womens cooking magazines and low-cal stroodles.

I'll admit -- some of those shows on that list sucked ass and should be burned to the ground. War at Home -- I enjoy the references to masterbation and other things, but the way that show is conveyed ... hurts. Its mind numbing. The OC? Go home and die. They're are a few I can deal with but I'm going to agree to part of the rhetoric: some of these shows are desperate to be the most talked about thing in the world to gain viewings. TV is ... for the most part, retarded.
