Going back to last years E3 (The kliener lab vid), alyx said that she should of done something the way her father should of done it (whatever it is). Does this mean that our gung-ho scientist dies part way through HL2.

Alternatetly, the barricade vid might be some sort of rescue mission planned by Barney. This gives an indication that Eli is definately an invaluable person to the resistance, if it means getting a lot of the resistance killed in the process.

I seriously don't think he died or something after that part... I hope not 'cause he's like the coolest guy.. Almost as cool as Barney.

The coolest character in the game was that guy who drove the forklift during the tram ride.

the E³ levels where just that, E³ levels, just a presentation for E³. dont expect these levels in hl2.

True, the E3 levels might just be the demo that they'll release after the main game ships (They got to do something with those E3 presentations after the game ships, right?!)

Caution: Demo might exceed 3 hours play time

she says "we should have done it my fathers way" simply meaning they had a difference of opinion on how to do something

You are all wrong, the coolest guy in HL is the guy who dove out that window and rolled to his feet, then as he ran by he said "Hello Gordon" or something like that.

That guy was cool, except for the fact that there was nothing chasing him.

He was so cool, he just needed to show off.

Eli was in the initial screens of HL2 so I doubt they'd make up his model and then kill him off like that. I'm sure he has a decent role in the proceedings.

Actually, there was a zombie in the room with him. that was undoubtedly the coolest guy in HL. Walter Bennet...Action Scientist!

I mean half-way through the game, I don't mean they don't use his model for the game

The zombie was trapped in the closet though. :)

All he successfully escaped from were a shotgun, shells and several medkits. :D
