yeah I'm having the same problem
I'm running windows XP, radion 9800 pro....
the thing won't even install...
gets to disc 4 and runs and runs and runs... intill this error comes up....
error 1305. error reading from file C:\ProgramFiles\Valve\Steam\Steamapp\counter-strike source shared content gcf. Verify that the file exists and you can access it

I've opened this folder and this file is present..... so what gives...

I dont know what to say..I bought it over Steam so I have no problem. Maybe you can search this problem up on steampowered or email one of the VALVe members about it?

Only Cs:Source?..cause theres only two choices when you install hl2...
-Install Half-Life 2 (and source...what ive done and that gives me this error)

huh...?you put the hl2 cd(cd #1) and then you select install half-life2, and you press next until you see a choice on the screen asking you what do you want to install...
