Hey
Well a while back my half0life2 was updating as per usual, and for some reason or another i needed to stop it, well i did, and ever since then when I look on properties of my half-life2 it just says game not ready and requires update and 86% amount aquired. But it won't update and I don't know how to finish the update.
Plus when I got to play the game it goes "preparing to play half-life 2" and then sends me the error message:
"Steam has found a problem with your local games file. Game files will now be re-aquired from the Steam servers."
After I press "OK" the error message box disappears and the "preparing to play Half-Life2" box then becomes visable, but after a few moments the same error message comes back on, again and again.
Help?
