No, it has GDDR3 ram, look at the box photo - it says GDDR3 in big letters. The GDDR2 is just an error on NewEgg's site, as there is no such thing as a 7800GT with GDDR2.

hey i have the 7800gt too, how can i check the temps on it?

idk how to check the temperature, i just have an lcd temp display, but if u ment clock speed then the only way i know how to check that is to know what brand of card it is and then look up the stocl clock and memory speeds
