Most people on the mod scene aren't interested in coding, because it produces no pretty pictures, and involves quite a bit of commitment. So, coders are few and far between. And, of those coders, quite a few don't know their ass from their elbow (check on VERC for posts similar to "OMG wut doz Unresolved External meanzor?!? W follow tutorial exactzly!") and therefore don't post, some (like me) are pretty focused in what they know, and aren't very good at other things (in my case, I'm pretty good at fartassing about with AI, but I probably couldn't make the third person system work to save my life), and the rest are really good at what they do, therefore actually sit down and produce good mods.
Yeah, the lack of activity in the coding forum upsets me, too, but decreasing interest in coding itself stems from the falling average age of modders.
I had a look, but I've been really busy. Got a vague idea why it's gone wrong.
Try inporting the crowbar.smd milkshape, then import your model over the top of it, and assign it to the bone that the crowbar is attached to. Then delete the crowbar part of it, export it as an SMD, and compile. Easy as pie.
