this is a new thread that speculates on Tomu's thread and what he said. i believe that tomu is slightly correct about the G man replacement. but i have worked some other theories off of his.

could the g man possibly be overthrown by this new female?

also, i would like to think that Aperture science is not new, and it has dealt with portals before but they have gone haywire. thus me believing that the g man went through the aperture science tests and was NOT killed and not baked in a cake with thumb tacks and eaten by the whole crew of the ASHPD crew. that is why he is apointed teh g man and can teleport.
