Being a freshman in college, I thought it would be a good idea to get a laptop. I thought I had gotten completely over playing computer games, and Apple laptops looked pretty nice, so I got a Macbook Pro. It's really a great computer for schoolwork and things like that, but a gaming machine it is not. The thing is, I kind of want to play some games, but there really aren't a whole lot to play.

I remember playing Medal of Honor Allied Assault and Spearhead multiplayer like crazy when they were new, and that was so fun. I checked it out for Mac and it turns out it's available. I don't have much money to spend on games, though, so I torrented it. I went to install it and it said that the disk image might be corrupt which might harm my system, so I just deleted the entire thing and said oh well. Some people said it was a crappy port from Windows anyway. I guess it was kind of glitched.

Anyway, the point of this whole topic is to ask if anyone who is stuck in a similar situation has any recommendations for decent Mac games. Probably everybody here is on a PC, but I figured I'd ask.

I still have my Windows desktop, but it's all put away in my attic, infected with viruses, and kind of outdated.

Thanks, dudes.

Edit: I thought I'd mention I'm not interested in Warcraft at all. Not in the least.
