Garrys Mod .Fgd

Ok i have wantted to make maps for Garrys mod for ages, so if anyone could give me the code for the .fgd or direct me to a download.

They don't have the mod entitys, or arn't there any?
 
How would tehy choose which kind of game it would be?
 
how do you mean "which kind of game"? garrys mod is a sandbox mod.. you load a map and play on it... right?
 
Yeah but what about the maps like.... Melon racing, Build_To_The_Top and those kinds of extras for Garrys mod
 
That's done with LUA scripting mostly. There's a lot of information on it on the Gmod wiki.
 
So i just make a normal HL2 map, play it in Gmod and activate the mod?
If so were do i get this info from?
 
Yes. Its all LUA scripting. Have a look at the garrysmod site, specifically the wiki which is linked from the forums' LUA section.
 
There all normal HL2 maps even the ones for certain game modes, extra stuff like controlling water melons is LUA scripting. :naughty:
 
The info on lua scripting on the wiki is not that great. (it never helped me) but i guess you might be able to get something out of IT. (<---:cheers: Link to gmod wiki)

I put out this Topic because i talked to somone on a server and the ysaid that they had made tehre own .FGD for Garrys mod.

I have a guy on my MSN that will teach me LUA if I ask him, but unfortunately I'm so busy with stuff I have no time. He says it's like Basic, which is cool for me. And I hear it's also like C++, which is good also because knowing C++ is very handy.
