"NVIDIA just released a new ForceWare 80 driver. All new products are supported folks. The new driver fixes several issues with some games and of course support the all new GeForce 7600 and 7900 series of products.

This new version ForceWare 84.25 will contain specific performance enhances to Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion

NVIDIA's developer relations team worked closely with Bethesda to optimize game performance, which also included making some driver changes to fix/enhance performance in certain areas.

Performance testing shows no two benchmark runs are identical in exterior scenes, due to Oblivion randomly placing grass and rocks, changing the amount of grass, and varying other aspects of the terrain."

If anything my framerate dropped.

This is on a GeForce 6800 Go Ultra.

so it made it worse?,damn did you uninstall first and use Crap Cleaner? or did you install it??

it just says beta cuz it aint Windows certefied,Im dl right now If you want 2 wait another 70min (dial-up :( ) then I will tell you

Uhh...have you tried it yet? I am weary of dling it if someone has already had a performance decrease. Anyone else get a hit or has it helped?

EDIT: Seemed to help indoors but outdoors I didn't notice much of a difference. FRAPS was reporting 20fps even though it seemed plenty smooth. It seemed to reset my graphics options so I cranked most everything back up and I think I had it to where it was before.

just 10 more min, then I have 2 burn it on a cd,put in on my pc,then deistall old driver sin so forth.so gimme like 20 more minutes

i was having a few small stutters before when using 84.21 (z-tweaked) but i installed these 84.25 earlier and it's alot smoother

I did use Driver Cleaner and everything. I noticed that even in safemode though, the system kept reinstalling some form of nvidia drivers before I could clean them. Is there any way to stop that?

I should note that because I have a laptop 6800 Ultra card, I have to use a modded .inf file to make them work. It shouldn't make any difference, but my bad experience could just be because the drivers aren't optimized for my card. (Why do you hate laptop users, nVidia, WHY?)

well,it goves like 10-13fps more, Im happy^^
now I willt ry the coolbits thing 3 get even more
