carry on up the road a bit untill you find that its blocked by wreaked cars, you should find some more rockets around there.

Do get there you have to turbo over the gap (shift key is default I think).

There is a van amongst all the broken vehicles that has a case of unlimited supply of rockets.

It's really easy to shoot down the gunships. Just fire away from it and wait a second then aim the laser. The missile, if it has gone past, will turn around and hit him in the ass.

Yeah sure, but it's not a fire and forget missile, so you need to constantly point the laser on him, and when he's firing at you then.... well... it hurts.

Btw, what is the mapname where you encounter that first gunship? I'd like to replay that one.

I generally find that as soon as you fire, he ignores you and keeps trying to shoot the rocket down...

As long as the rocket isn't directly inbetween you and the gunship, then it means you aren't going to get hit by the stray fire

I find it helps to shoot the rocket while you are still under cover, and THEN step out and start aiming it. The rocket never runs out of fuel, and you can make it come back by aiming at your feet (don't aim there for too long, or it's gonna hurt )
