Getting kicked in any steam game

In counter-strike 1.6 i get kicked after about 2 minutes with the message "time out while answering challange" wtf? what does that mean?

Also in CS: Source i get kicked but there it says something ells, i cant remember what.


Why is this happening? I have tried reinstalling the games but it wont help.

Check Firewall Settings and your router/modem etc.

Hm i tried to turn of the firewall but i also deleted clientregistry.blob so it would redownload. Steam messed up and i had to restart the computer, then it all worked fine even with the fire wall. I have no idea what happend, but thanks for your help!

That happened to me too, i just did the clientregistry.blob thing and it magicially worked. Problem solved!
