My name is Stephen Panagiotis, 21. I've worked on a few mods in the past and am now currrently the lead level designer for a mod called Grayshot and we are looking for a 3d modeler & texture artist. Our mod leader Brad Johnson, 29, is the original creator of the Grayshot story and in-production comic.

Here is a synopsis of the mod:

Grayshot is a Cloverfield inspired mod with a survival - horror theme. You play Jeremey, a typical city guy who's attending his best friends night-time bachlelor party the night before his wedding. Durring the course of the party, the creature dubbed Grayshot, emerges from deep underground out of New York City. Grayshot brings with him a horde of mutant creatures which begin a relentless assault on the city, and the entire world.

Durring your survival fight against the Grayshot creatures and surviving Grayshots path of destruction, you meet up with Lawrence Tibbens- an anti-Grayshot agent and computer specialist. Lawrence's mission is to help survivors like you flee the city, and expose the truth about Grayshot's origin and why the military is doing little to help stop him.

I joined the mod about a week ago as they have some excellent concept artists who are both versed in traditional art and vector art, and I joined because of that artistic talent and believe to be able to help bring the Grayshot story to life.

Give us an example of 10 models you need your 3D/2D artist to do.

(this gives us an idea of the level of organisation the team has)
 
Currently the most important models would be that of environmental props. We have a long list of props that we would need, including -- but not limited to -- crushed & damaged vehicles, street light fixtures, stoplights, mail boxes, various flora such as bushes, city sidewalk trees. For interior props, we are looking at typical apartment and convenience store items, lamps, tables and chairs, home electronics such as: LCD screens and stereo systems. If you would like a fine detail list of props that we require work on I'd be glad to post it.

We are also in need of organic models too as we have various iterations of the Grayshot mutant creatures (a good example is the various zombie iterations in half life 2). Our concept artist is hard at work nailing down the designs for the different mutant looks & personalities.

For the 2D artist, we are looking for someone who’s good at creating fantastic textures for either 3D models or use in Hammer. The types of texturing would include: Wood flooring & walls, brick & mortar for city buildings, as well as drywall & wallpaper for interiors to name a few. Of course we'd also need the standard concrete sidewalks, roads, and grates. Our lead level designer is working hard at both pumping out our levels and making textures for the game, so we're looking for someone to work directly with him.
