Grayshot is basically a mod inspired by the hit film Cloverfield.
It is a singleplayer mod but there are plans for a multiplayer mode.

I didn't RTFA, but if they're going to render the Cloverfield monster, I'm in.

In the first post I said'inspired'.
It's a totally different monster, story and characters. It was acually originally going to be the Cloverfield game but Paramount contacted Brad Johnson (the person in charge of Grayshot) and asked if they could use the Cloverfield Game domain.

So Grayshot was born.

This reminds me of the mods being made before hl2 was released. There's a whole lot of marketing and not a whole lot of game.. I wouldn't bet on something this ambitious getting released.
