Grrrrrrrrr, Steam!!!

I have had my steam account for over a year, and I watched steam unlock my HL2....
Why, after I rebooted my computer, can I not get in?
Why does it take so long, and it will not authenticate me...
I am trying to change my password now... still same thing....

You should call them.It took about a half hour or 20mins for steam to unlock my HL2.Took so LONG!

It took me (as I've said a dozen times so far) two and a half hours.

They have 7gbits of bandwidth in reserve. Maybe we should start a petition... (of course, it'd cost Valve millions for the extra bandwidth).

Does this mean that you have to be connected to Steam EVERY time you start HL2??

That's almost enough to make me not buy the game... I've been hanging back to see what the real deal is about Steam...

Maybe that's a solution to your steam delay problems? Feed back if you have any luck! I'd hate to have to log in every time I want to play for a few minutes!

I unlocked it 12am today, it took about 15 minutes, it was fine game worked awesomenessly and yah...
