Hi there, people! I play HL2 in Russia. While enjoying the game I've noticed one very interisting thing - I have found all damaged car trunks familiar. That's impressive! Yes, I have localized version of the game, but I think they were unable to install russian cars in HL2??!!
All models in the game are exact copies of present/old russian cars? Bug? Feature? Storyline?

The game environment is modeled after various parts of Eastern Europe. It makes sense that they used Russian cars.

It takes place in eastern Europe, so thats why you see those type of vehicles in there. I remember seeing an URAL 53 and a Gaz-24, along with some others I cannot identify.
