Half-Life 2 Sounds

I was wondering if anyone knew where the Half-Life 2 sounds were located. A friend and I were going to use some of the Civil Police sounds as computer sounds, but we're unable to find them. Tried going to C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\Steamapps\[name]\halflife 2\hl2 directory, but I dont see any "Sounds" folders in there, so I'm kind of at a loss.

Any help is appriciated. Thanks!

You need to get GCF scape, search google as I'm to tired/lazy to link it.

You use it to open the 'Source Sounds.GCF' file in your steam account folder.

The usual directory is "C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps" where you will find a bunch of GCF files, one of which is called "Source Sounds.gcf"

If you open that with GCFscape, you should have everything you need, I think the dir for the combine police is called "Police" or "Metrocop"
